Anti wrinkle treatment
Injecting botulinum toxin type A (Botox) into facial muscles inhibits muscle action, thereby decreasing forehead furrowing, frown-lines and wrinkles around the eyes
A thorough medical history will be taken during the consultation to ensure that you can be safely treated with Botox. Amanda is fully qualified to prescribe Botox as an Independent Nurse Prescriber which complies with the new Botox prescribing legislation.
The entire procedure takes approximately 15 minutes and discomfort is minimal and brief. You may resume normal activity immediately. There may be slight redness following the treatment but this generally resolves within an hour or less. Minor bruising occurs in some people but can be covered with make-up. Avoiding Aspirin, Ibuprofen and alcohol prior to the Botox treatment and soon after will minimise the risk of bruising.
This revolutionary NEW product is an injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) used for treating skin laxity. Profhilo encourages the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin. Resulting in significant tissue improvement. Profhilo can have a significant tightening and lifting effect on the tissue.

This product has no significant downtime and requires 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart.
A local anaesthetic cream is used to numb the area and the procedure takes between fifteen minutes to an hour. Temporary fillers are an effective and increasingly popular way of filling lines and wrinkles and defining and augmenting lips. Several products can be used in combination for a bespoke treatment which successfully targets problem areas while maintaining a natural look. The results are beautifully natural and subtle.
We use a hyaluronic acid Dermal filler, a natural component of our skin, which helps to keep the skin moist and elastic. The hyaluronan content of the skin diminishes with age, which is a reason why lines begin to appear. The filler plumps up the wrinkles by replacing the lost hyaluronan.
There is a risk of bruising, taking Arnica prior to procedure reduces the risk.
